Upper School Teacher
I love to teach because it allows me to be able to impact young lives and instill Godly characteristics in them. I feel honored for the opportunity and count it as a blessing. Teaching math is a subject that lends itself to order and precision which I feel are crucial for life. I do not take the responsibility of teaching lightly. To be able to be used by God to instill Godly principles in these young lives is definitely a privilege. I'm sure all of us can remember teachers that impacted our lives positively, and it is my goal to do the same. I love being able to pour into their lives and hopefully add to the character of my students who I pray will become Godly adults that make great contributions to society.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
